Great acupuncture site!
by: Michael

Great site! Why so small couple of people understand what is the great thing - acupuncture!

Only a few people know about this.

When I was on Tenerife (Spain) I visited a great doctor, which is a professional at acupuncture!

It was my greatest experience!

Thanks for your site! It will be awesome if I can post one of your article on my blog (essaymaxi) and will add link for you as an author after publication, is it OK?

Thanks! Your Michael!

Foot pain and Qi Stagnation
by: Jonathan Clogstoun-Willmott

Dear Elle, after all your problems, I'm not surprised you also have some Qi stagnation.

It is also possible that your ongoing state of Qi stagnation has prolonged your foot pain, but there are other syndromes in Chinese medicine that your acupuncturist will, I am sure, also consider.

Injury nearly always leads to at least some Blood Stasis (read more at http://www.acupuncture-points.org/blood-stasis.html).

Of course there may well be misalignment in your back by now, causing various other problems, such as those noticed by your chiropractor.

And, because trauma (in Chinese medicine) affects the Kidneys and if severe or prolonged drains your Kidney Qi, action to regulate your Kidney Qi may be necessary.

If your tendons have been affected or strained, your acupuncturist may want at some stage to treat your Liver and/or Gallbladder, which are said to 'nourish' the tendons. However, sometimes the Liver and Gallbladder recover naturally when your Kidney Qi is regulated.

Your acupuncturist may also treat you on your Stomach and Spleen channels, because Stomach and Spleen 'nourish' the flesh, the muscles.

She probably has a tentative plan of action! This may be highly adaptable depending on you respond. For example, if your back remains out of alignment this will affect your gait so she may treat the different sides of your Bladder channel (which runs down your back) to get them in balance. Of course, this will also help your Kidney energy.

Thank you for letting us know, and good luck with the rest of your treatment! And do try to discover if there is anything else that might be causing your Qi Stagnation, because if that continues it will hamper the rest of your improvements from treatment.

Jonathan
