Qi Stagnation and Heart Fire
by: Jonathan Clogstoun-Willmott

Thank you Anna for your contribution.

Redness at the very tip of your tongue is an indication of Heart Fire (http://www.acupuncture-points.org/heart-fire.html).

Heart Fire can certainly arise from long-term Qi Stagnation. The presence of Fire in your system in one place can suggest that either now or in the past there was a more generalised Heat which might explain the drying out of your kidney stones.

Blocking the expression of any anger in childhood would almost certainly lead to Heat.

Why you pass out from the severe pain of kidney colic (or from any severe pain) depends on several factors which might include Wind (caused by Heat, as in a bush fire) rushing upwards so fast that it disturbs the normal flows of Qi preventing your Shen from functioning properly.

Theoretically the Heart Heat/Fire can be treated and doing so would stop or at least reduce the frequency of your bad attacks.

I am glad you are able to live a calmer and more enjoyable life now. Thank you again for your contribution.
